Why Spray Rather Than Replace?

Re-cladding an elevation means boards, battens, breather membrane, trims and days of labour, and it puts a skip of perfectly sound material into landfill. Where the boards are physically intact and only the finish has failed, spraying restores them at a fraction of the cost, usually in one to two days, with no scaffolding-bound weeks and no disruption inside the building.

The Weatherboard Spraying Process

Every board is washed and degreased, then masked and primed with an adhesion primer matched to the material. Specialist exterior topcoats are spray-applied for an even, factory-grade film that follows the shiplap profile without runs or brush marks. The shadow lines and texture that give weatherboarding its look are preserved — the boards simply get their colour back.

Colours and Finishes

Any RAL or BS colour is available. Weatherboarding is most often sprayed in the modern exterior palette — anthracite grey, sage and heritage greens, off-whites and soft blacks — and can be matched to newly sprayed windows, doors and fascias so the whole elevation reads as one scheme. Matt and satin finishes are both available; matt tends to suit contemporary boarding, satin the more traditional look.
