By requesting a quote, booking a survey, or engaging Newlook Protective Coatings Ltd, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all residential, commercial, and industrial customers we serve in Southampton, Hampshire, and surrounding areas.
Service Description
Newlook Protective Coatings provides the following services:
- UPVC spraying and refinishing for windows, doors, conservatories, and fascias
- On-site cladding respray for composite, metal, and weatherboard panels
- Shop front spraying for aluminium, metal, and UPVC frames
- Colour matching, surface preparation, masking, and finishing
- Site surveys, quotations, and project planning
All services are subject to site conditions, access, material availability, and weather suitability for spraying or curing.
Booking and Cancellation
Service Requests
- Quotes and bookings can be requested via phone or the online form
- We aim to respond to new enquiries within one business day
- All bookings are confirmed only after written acceptance of the quote
- Site surveys may be required to verify scope, access, and substrate condition
Cancellation Policy
- Surveys or booked works can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice
- Short-notice cancellations may incur costs for materials ordered, access equipment, or labour reserved
- Delays caused by lack of access, unsafe conditions, or unprepared surfaces may result in additional charges
Payment Terms
- Quoted prices are based on the agreed scope, materials, and access conditions
- Deposits may be required to secure booking dates or purchase materials
- Invoices are payable upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Additional charges may apply for unforeseen prep work, access equipment, or scope changes
- Late payments may incur interest or administrative fees as permitted by law
Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the site, surfaces, colours, and desired finish
- Ensure safe access, ventilation, power, and water where required
- Remove or protect fixtures, furniture, or items that could be affected by overspray
- Advise us of any hazardous materials, previous coatings, or structural issues
- Obtain necessary permissions from landlords, neighbours, or building managers
- Review and approve colours/samples before work proceeds
- Pay all applicable fees and charges on time
Liability and Insurance
Our Liability
- We maintain appropriate insurance for our operations and team
- Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided
- We are not liable for delays caused by weather, access issues, or factors outside our control
- We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, latent moisture issues, or substrate failures
Customer Liability
- Customers are responsible for damage arising from inaccurate information or unsafe conditions
- Customers must protect sensitive items and advise us of specialist requirements
- Customers are responsible for costs linked to changes in scope after work has started
- Customers are responsible for providing required permissions and site access
Service Limitations
Our services are subject to the following limitations:
- Spraying and coating work depends on suitable weather and substrate conditions
- Colour perception can vary based on lighting and the underlying surface
- Existing damage, contamination, or moisture can affect adhesion and finish quality
- Access restrictions or height work may require additional equipment and costs
- We reserve the right to refuse or postpone work where conditions are unsafe or unsuitable
Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:
